This involves dashing through the mighty sand dunes at full throttle as your vehicle bumps and drifts spraying sand in its wake.
Thrill aside, the dunes look magnificent at sunset and are a sight to marvel. Your driver will probably stop at a viewpoint where you can take in the majestic beauty of the desert. Don’t forget to make some memories here.
Some tour operators also offer sand-skiing and you might want to take up on the opportunity. You will then be driven off to your enclosure which basically comprises of bedouin camps pegged up. Here you can enjoy the rest of your tour package which entails, henna painting, camel rides and belly dancing. You can pose in the traditional Arab costume, sit back and smoke Sheesha or have a picture taken with a Falcon perched on your arm. In this safari, your tour guide will walk you through modern and ancient techniques of falconry training. The experience will be interactive as you will get to observe the world’s best trained falcons and even try a hand at calling a falcon to perch on your arm.

Deserts are colder in the night and warm during the day. So loose fitting clothing will be adequate on summer days and jackets in winter.
Do check with your tour operators if they offer washrooms facility. Nothing spoils a trip more than having to attend nature's call in the dunes.
